We’ve been lucky enough to work with Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club on some really exciting projects, and their latest kit launch for the 2025/26 season was no exception.

Following on from their special edition kit commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Ermenonville Air Disaster, the club came back to us to help showcase their brand-new kits for all teams across the club.

As Will Affleck (Player and Head of Marketing at Bury Rugby Club) told us:“Traditional methods of launching kits can be somewhat bland. We found video to be a great way to engage both fans and sponsors of the club. It also allows us to involve teams right across all ages, not just 1st teams.”

To bring this year’s launch to life, we invited Bury Rugby back to our studio, where we produced a series of video stingers designed for social media, along with a set of stills for socials and press releases. The shoot was kept lean and efficient, spread across just two short sessions, ensuring that the club had engaging content ready to go without disrupting their busy pre-season schedule.

But the kit launch isn’t the only project we’ve been working on together. Earlier this month we were at the club filming one of two additional films set to support their wider branding. This was a fast-paced shoot with lots of moving parts, and we were fortunate to have a fantastic crew on hand—Sophie, Jeremy, and Jake—alongside myself and Laurence.

A key part of the day’s success was the incredible turnout from the club’s supporters. Their generosity and willingness to get involved brought the film to life, and once again they did Bury Rugby proud. We can’t share too much detail just yet, but the finished piece will be released very soon—and it’s definitely one to look out for.

Bury Rugby continue to show how powerful video can be—not only in creating excitement among fans but also in attracting new sponsors, a crucial part of sustaining and growing the club. We’re proud to play a part in that journey and look forward to sharing more of these projects as they’re released.
