Another Goal Smashed with Video!

We are very proud to have provided video services to our local RSPCA for a new project. Watch the video here:

They wanted to be able to renovate an old unusable space, and revitalise it into a new dog sensory garden. This would help them train and rehabilitate dogs. Due to many different factors, they were seeing a steep rise in the amount of dogs that needed their help, sadly without the space they were struggling with the demand.

Having spoken with their team they wanted to use video to highlight their need. Showing potential sponsors the space, the designs and just some of the wonderful dogs that would benefit from the new garden.

After receiving several quotes, doing their due diligence and with input from the team – the required work was set to cost around £20,000.

Video would be a powerful tool to show off why they need the money and what the direct benefits from it are.

Video also becomes a tool to introduce the potential sponsors to some of the dogs, some of the team and ground the audience in what they would be supporting.

Video also becomes a create it once solution, rather than having the time and expense of having the team reach out to speak to people and explain it every time – they were able to create it once, show it off at local shows and share across the website, socials and directly with potential sponsors.

They also found that that those who had seen the video were much more receptive to further conversations about sponsorship.

So once we knew the brief, it was time to work out how we could show off the location and create a script the script. We also planned the day rigorously as to not disrupt the other kennelled dogs and the site, whilst still capturing everything we needed.

We decided to spend around 15-20 minutes with each dog, capturing content with 2 cameras on different rigs – which would allow us to capture a real range of dynamic movement and build that engaging story.

We allowed around an hour to capture the script in the location with all the movement, making sure that each line was perfect.

With all our content captured we headed back to the studio to unpack, safely save our footage and begin the edit process.

Our rigorous planning made the edit a doddle, cutting out all the bad takes and then adding the wonderful shots of the dogs to make a really energetic and dynamic video.

This has then been successfully taken to events and shared with sponsors and has risen in excess of the £20,000 needed to see the project to completion.

We are so proud to have been part of the journey and look forward to popping in once its all finished and seeing the wonderful dogs enjoying their new space.

To help the RSPCA get the most out of their content, we also created spotlight videos for each dog (around 40-50 seconds each). This has helped some of the dogs find their forever home.

Truly the power of video is amazing, you can tell your story and engage with your audience. Build emotion and drive growth for any organisation. And with proper planning and execution – your content can be used in multiple ways and be a driver for you to reach your next goal, and beyond!
