Sharing the Spotlight: Our Incredible Evening at the ISSBA Annual Event

Last month, the team here at Offset Films had the absolute pleasure of attending the Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association (ISSBA) annual Spotlight Event. It was a fantastic evening designed to bring local businesses together, share real-world experiences, and shine a bright light on the incredible variety of passionate entrepreneurs working across our region.
When ISSBA first reached out and asked whether we’d like to take part, we didn’t hesitate for a second. Never ones to turn down an opportunity for a bit of great publicity and community connection, we were absolutely delighted to say yes!
Taking the Hot Seat (and Capturing the Action)
We decided to divide and conquer for the evening to make sure we covered all bases. Our very own Laurence happily volunteered to take the hot seat, stepping up to offer some open insights into our own business journey, our growth, and what we've learned along the way.
Meanwhile, Nathan was doing what he does best—staying nimble behind the camera to capture the vibrant energy, the smiles, and the brilliant networking buzz of the evening as it unfolded.

From fresh startups to established names, every single person in the room came armed with their own unique stories, triumphs, and daily challenges. It was a wonderful reminder of just how resilient and creative our local economy is.

The evening was wonderfully hosted by the incredibly talented broadcaster Georgy Jamieson. Her natural warmth, quick wit, and total professionalism kept the panel conversations flowing effortlessly and the room's atmosphere buzzing from start to finish.
