The George Restoration

Budget £6796 + VAT
The brief was to capture the restoration of the George. By the time we came on board, the project was well underway. The funding had been agreed, the plans drawn up and the builders were beginning the work of clearing and repairing the damage caused by the fire. We knew the rebuild would take some time to complete; it was pitched at a 12-18 month project.
With this time scale in mind, we pitched for the 4 chapters of the story:
1) The History of the Pub.
2) The Fundraising efforts.
3) The Planning and Building process.
4) The Opening Ceremony.

The management committee loved the chaptered approach and we began filming immediately.
Local writer Tony Stroker worked closely with us to write the scripts and uncover key stories about the pub. Tony was already compiling archives as part of writing a book about the pub. This collaboration was integral to the Films.

We planned many shoot days over the next 18 months, to capture key moments of the build, speak to people about pub and their memories (including the daughter of a previous landlord) and we compiled a massive database of archival footage.

Video Testimonial from Tony Stroker
These films have delivered increased awareness around the pub and its community space.
It has captured the interest of people further afield, wanting to engage with the history and follow the story of the pub. Ensuring it stays an asset for the community for many years to come.
The project has also won several awards, and being able to show video content at those awards has been a key factor in increasing interest and engagement in capturing the hearts of the judges.

Finally, a key part of the funding from The National Lottery and the Government was to be able to show to build in process. Inevitably there were issues and delays throughout the process, but the videos were able to hit key delivery milestones and ensure that those funding the project were kept in the loop throughout.
The chaptered nature meant we could share these films with the community and funders at every step of the way.

RSPCA
Sensory Garden
Additional content

Budget £1199 + VAT
The Brief:
The first project we worked on for the RSPCA – Suffolk Central was to create a video about the Dog Sensory Garden they were raising money for. They had the plans and they had a disused area which would be perfect.
But they needed £20,000 to deliver the changes that they desperately needed.
With a rise in more complex behavioural issues, this space would allow more in depth training for the dogs in their care. With a growing waitlist of more than 300 dogs, the RSPCA was in dire need.
To work within budget and the running of a busy animal centre – we could only film for around 4 hours.
We wrote a script and planned for the required shots and capturing interviews all around the space. We also booked shoot time with 4 of the animals, giving ourselves a 15 minute window to capture all required shots for each animal.
We used 2 crew members, with 2 camera systems to we could capture lots of shots in a short amount of time whilst also capture high quality audio for the walk and talk interviews.
Our premium packages will deliver additional content, upto 5 shorter videos. Which can allow you to add more videos across your website and social media.

The Results
The video was paramount in raising the £20,000 required to create the sensory garden. It was not only shared across social media generating donations, but was taken to networking talks and exhibitions.
The video created interest which captured the eye of regional news outlets which shared it and helped the RSPCA message much further.
The RSPCA asked us to create some mini montages from the shots for each of the dogs we filmed with. We create short 40 second adverts for each dog. Three out of Four of the dogs were rehomed within six weeks.
Due to the success of the videos we have since created other campaigns for the RSPCA Suffolk Central, and continue to do so.
