We love getting out into our local community, and we had a fantastic time attending a recent networking event at the Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre. Beyond the great conversations and fresh connections, one of the absolute highlights of the day was bumping into a wonderful past client of ours and hearing how much they’ve grown since we last collaborated.
A few years back, we had the privilege of working with the Disability Advice Service (DAS). Seeing them at the event gave us the perfect opportunity to catch up on their progress—and wow, do they have some incredible news to share!
The Brief: Creating a Multi-Layered Video Strategy
When DAS originally approached us, they needed a suite of video content to spread the word about the vital support they provide across East Anglia, while simultaneously driving more resources into the charity.
To give them the most versatile assets possible, we filmed and produced a package of four Key videos:
A 3-minute main promotional video to introduce the charity's core mission.
Three shorter, targeted films focusing specifically on volunteer recruitment, finding new trustees, and driving donations.

Overcoming Challenges to Tell an Authentic Story
Every video project comes with its unique hurdles. For this one, we knew the film needed to feature real people sharing how much DAS meant to them. However, at the time of filming, shifting government policies had created an atmosphere of anxiety and fear for many individuals who relied on these services, making people hesitant to go on camera.
Thankfully, the power of a tight-knit local community saved the day! By tapping into our own local network, we connected with some incredibly brave individuals who had been supported by DAS in the past. They stepped forward to share their stories, giving the videos the genuine, emotional heart they needed.
Fast Forward to the Present: Incredible Real-World Results
Hearing how those videos are still working hard for DAS today is exactly why we do what we do. The team shared some breathtaking updates on how the video suite has directly impacted their growth.
Since launching the films, DAS has successfully used them to:
Secure two brand-new, six-figure grants to fund their long-term future.
Recruit four new trustees to help guide the charity forward.
Expand their team by employing more staff to meet local demand.
Beyond these major milestones, the videos have become a staple of their daily operations. The DAS team regularly uses them in community presentations and digital marketing efforts, ensuring their message continues to reach the people who need it most. We are incredibly proud to have played a part in this brilliant chapter of their journey.
